TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL
Offer exclusive to participants who register for and participate in the Mico Taranaki Fishing Competition February 2025.
(“Fishing Competition”) by Mico invitation only. Registered participants will be entered into the prize draws. Further terms and
conditions apply, see reverse for details. Entrants must participate in the fishing competition to be eligible for prize draws.

MICO NEW PLYMOUTH — FISHING COMPETITION PRIZES 2025
1. Entry into this promotion is deemed as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand. Employees of Mico New Zealand and its agencies plus members of their
immediate families are ineligible to enter. If a winning entrant is under 18 years old, the prize may be awarded to the
winner’s parent or guardian.
3. To qualify to enter the draw you must pay the $150 entry fee per angler via Mico account or cash sale. Ownership of
each entry on an account sale is owned by the account holder unless otherwise agreed with account owner.
4. The prize draw will take place at the Mico New Plymouth Fishing Competition prizegiving held at the NPSFUC
07/02/2025 (or 8/02/25 as layday). There are 3 top prizes of 1) Supercars Paddock Club Premium Experience
including hospitality for 4 people valued at $18,000, 2) 5 nights accommodation at the Hapuku Lodge for 2 people
included Flights from Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch, Rental Car, Whale Watching Helicopter Trip, and scenic
flight picnic experience valued at $13,000. 3) Air NZ Mystery Break for 2 people with 2 nights accommodation, flights
and rental car, valued at $1,850. There will also be a selection of smaller prices on the day.
5. The winner will be drawn from the full list of paid entries via a digital number draw system.
6. The winner must be in attendance at the prizegiving held 7/2/25 if the drawn winner is not in attendance the prize will
be forfeited and a re-draw will take place.
7. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash, nor can it be exchanged for any other product or service.
8. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Entry is deemed to be consent to use the Winner’s information (name and/or photographs, video etc) for reasonable
publicity and promotional purposes if required without compensation and copyright will be vested in the Promoter.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to vary any of the terms of entry applying to this Promotion or to modify, extend,
terminate, suspend or reschedule this Promotion.
11. Unless the Promoter determines otherwise, this promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other promotion that
the Promoter may be running concurrently.
12. Entrants must participate in the fishing competition to be eligible for prizes.
13. Any tax implications arising from the winner accepting this prize will be the responsibility of the winner.
14. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mico New Zealand Ltd trading as Mico and its related companies,
employees and agents, will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss
of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in
connection with entering this promotion or accepting a prize.
15. All entries remain the property of the Promoter. All personal information will be collected and stored by the Promoter
in accordance with the Privacy Act. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal information to conduct the Promotion
and for its own future promotional and publicity purposes. By entering into this Promotion all Entrants agree to their
personal information being used for such marketing and promotional practices. Entrants have the right to access and
request correction of personal information held by the Promoter.
16. The Promoter is Mico New Zealand trading as Mico New Plymouth.

WEIGH IN TIME & VENUE
All fish to be weighed in by 4pm at New Plymouth Sportfishing & Underwater Club, judges decision is final. Entry fee includes 1
entry into the draw to win a prize, drinks and dinner. All entries are non refundable.

COMPETITION RULES ARE AS PER NPSUC RULES
*If no Marlin are weighed in before 4:00pm but an angler is hooked up before 4:00pm then that boat must radio in to
NPSUC before 4:00PM to say they are hooked up. They will then have until 6:00pm to be back to the weighmaster with
evidence of the tagged Marlin. All other fish on board will be forfeited.
